- MCCAP (Madera Center College Advantage Program): this program works directly with the area State Center
Community Colleges to help those students who might be considered at
risk for not attending college. Students in the middle GPA are recruited
during their senior year to take classes at the community college for
dual credit at both the high school and college, thus giving them a head
start on the college experience. Many fees and costs are waived for
these students making the transition to college a very positive
experience.
- 15% program for early college admittance; any senior student with an
acceptable GPA and advanced credits may spend part of their school day
taking classes at any local post-secondary institution. This excellent
program allows seniors to begin their college career a year early and
begin on their career pathway while they are still attending high
school.
